Photography

This Christmas, the husband and I decided to pool our money and give ourselves one big gift rather than a few smaller ones. With the help of husband's parents (Hi Omi and Opi!), we purchased a Nikon D3100. It's our first "real" camera and I'm thrilled -- if a bit overwhelmed. I've always wanted to learn more about photography, but have never really gotten around to it, so I've been reading, and experimenting, as well as stalking blogs with photos I adore trying to figure out how to get the photos I want to look the way I want them to look.

Thankfully, I have a very willing little model, who adores having her picture taken. Many, many, many times until I get it right!
