Best Burger

So... this past weekend, the husband and I had our first alone-time in what seems like months. And we had absolutely NO idea what to do with ourselves. We are in sore need of some achievable short-term goals, people! ;)

After much discussion, and several possible date ideas vetoed by one or both, we finally settled on a trip to the "big city" to finally taste our state's best burger. So that's just what we did. It was a little tricky since we couldn't remember the name of the store that sold it, but we finally just stopped and asked the place with the most cops (sorry... police officers...) milling around and found it. ;) OK, OK, so it wasn't that place -- it was on the next block -- but good guess, no?

Well worth the trip. Half pound of beef... and fries to kill for.

Unfortunately, I forgot to bring our spiffy new camera, so this cell phone picture of my burger, half eaten, is all I've got to share. But I have a hunch we'll be going back for more.

In the meantime, we've got to get to work on our list of free/cheap date ideas! If anyone has any, please share. We're always stumped when we DO get the free time....
